WELCOME TO THE 2017 FELTERS FLING!

We are thrilled to officially announce the 2017 lineup for Felter’s Fling at Snow Farm!

In order for you to be ready when registration opens, 2017 pricing is listed below.  For those of you who have attended Felters’ Fling in the recent past you will notice a modest price increase. Prior to last year, the Snow Farm Organization had been in a long-term rental arrangement with the property owners. In 2016, after a number of years of planning, the Snow Farm Organization was finally able to able to purchase the property. This will allow for significant upgrades to the property, a priority of which is the studios, reducing the environmental footprint (introducing solar energy infrastructure), revitalizing farm vegetable beds (farm to table veggies!) and increasing guest comfort. Work has already begun and we should begin to see the fruits of their labor by Aug 2017.  However, with these changes, our cost to utilize Snow Farm increased significantly. Please be assured we have made every effort to minimize the price increase to you. We value the Felters’ Fling community and look forward to having you join us in 2017.

Online Registration will begin February 5 at 9 pm Eastern Standard Time

Important Note** If you are planning to register for the entire week (both A and B sessions) register through the “Full Conference” portal.  Registration for a half-week only session will not begin until April 1 on a space available basis.

FULL CONFERENCE

REGISTRATION DETAILS

When registration opens, you will be able to choose your top 3 choices for both A and B sessions of the conference. If you plan to choose one of the 6-day (A+B) workshops, be sure to select your other choices for both Sessions A and B as we cannot guarantee your top choices’ availability.

Please indicate if you are planning on staying at Snow Farm during the conference, 23 meals are included with the Lodging Package. Lodging at Snow Farm is basic (no A/C, TV or phones in rooms, plus shared baths). For meals, there are vegetarian and special diet options available. We have a list of area Bed and Breakfasts (view off-site lodging options) if you choose to make separate arrangements.

If you would like additional meals or if you are staying offsite meal options are available. Please review additional information below.

Important note** If you would prefer to pay by check rather than PayPal, then once you have made workshop selections, room and board, and other details, click on the ADD TO CART icon, then the VIEW CART icon at the top of the page. Vending days will be Saturday, August 19 from 1:00 to 5:00 and Wednesday, August 23, 9:00 am to noon

Many participants appreciate the opportunity to make purchases before each three-day session begins.

Vendors should check the student materials list on our web site for what students might need. Of course, participants will also be looking for yummy fibers, fabrics for nuno, embellishment fibers, cool felting tools and equipment. It is also a nice opportunity to sell finished work to an appreciative audience.

Table fees are $55.00 each. This covers both vendor days. We are considering renting a tent where vendors can set up. If this does not happen, tables will be set up in a covered corridor in the Vendor area (Dorm “F”), or in a tent that you supply. You will need to provide storage for your inventory. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage. In the past vendors have stored their inventory in their locked car or trailer.

Payment for your space is due by July 1, 2017. Please complete the online vendor registration. Please be aware that PayPal fees incurred with online payment will be your responsibility.  You may send me a check as alternate payment made out to Beth Harwood Felt & Fibre, POB 154, Franconia, NH 03580

Please note, you are responsible for your own sales tax collection and reporting in Williamsburg, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
