PRICING & REFUND POLICY

DEPOSIT

A 20% deposit is due at the time of registration and no registration will be guaranteed until the deposit is received. The deposit must be calculated against the “total costs” shown on the registration form, including any housing and meal costs at Snow Farm. Payments may be made through PayPal, check or money order. Transaction Fees imposed by PayPal (approximately 4%) will be charged to purchaser. If for any reason, you do not get into any of your workshop choices, your 20% deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee. Please keep in mind there may be competition to get into some workshops. Your place in the registration queue (first come, first serve basis) will be held as long as we receive your deposit within 10 days. THIS 20% DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. You will forfeit the deposit if you cancel your reservation at any time and for any reason after it is paid. You should seriously consider purchasing travel insurance from a reputable third-party provider if you would find loss of this deposit unacceptable. To mail a check rather than going through PayPal select the “check” box, then close out the registration site. Your information will be saved! Checks and money orders may be made out to “Beth Harwood Felt & Fibre” and mailed to Beth Harwood, PO Box 154, Franconia, NH  03580

FULL PAYMENT

The remaining balance (80%) of the total cost of the conference is due NO LATER THAN July 1, 2015. After that date, your reservation may be given away to another interested participant with NO refund of your deposit. This 80% balance is refundable through August 1, 2017 ONLY IF (a) you notify [email protected] in writing (including e-mail) of your cancellation and such notification is RECEIVED no later than August 1, 2015, AND, 
(b) we are successful in finding a replacement for you from our wait list. Any such refund will NOT include the 20% deposit.  We encourage participants to pay their balance by check or money order to minimize the fees charged by PayPal.

MATERIALS FEE

A materials fee will be due and payable on the first day of each session for the class you are taking. The fee will vary by class and is payable directly to the instructor. Anyone canceling before a class begins shall NOT be liable for the materials fee. However, the full fee is due for anyone who begins a class, whether or not they complete it.

OTHER COSTS YOU MAY INCUR

Anyone staying off campus is responsible for their own housing arrangements. Any deposit and refund policies for such off campus accommodations are strictly between the registrant and the independent provider and not the responsibility of the organizers. Similarly, any travel arrangements are strictly the responsibility of the registrant. Especially if you are flying to the area, check your airline’s refund policies and consider travel cancellation insurance. DO NOT BOOK a non-refundable flight UNTIL you have been confirmed as a registered participant in Felters’ Fling 2015!

ORGANIZER RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS

Beth and Gary Harwood are making every effort to assure that all information about Felters’ Fling 2017 is accurate and reliable. Nevertheless, changes are sometimes unavoidable. Beth and Gary are not responsible for typographical errors on the website or in any e-mails, ads, or printed materials. We reserve the right to change faculty and make moderate class content changes, as well as modify non-class conference activities, as necessary without incurring an obligation to make a refund.

We also reserve the right to cancel any class outright in case of insufficient enrollment or other major problems. In case of a class or conference cancellation, all monies paid to Felters’ Fling by an enrolled student will be refunded, including the deposit, unless an alternate class acceptable to the student is available. If the student opts for a replacement class, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

The organizers WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for travel or lodging fees incurred by the student or any other fees related to the cancellation. If you plan to fly, please confirm that you are enrolled in the class and that it has sufficient enrollment to run prior to booking your ticket. The organizers are not responsible for nonrefundable airline tickets under any circumstance. We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

The organizers accept no responsibility for any services of area Bed and Breakfasts or other third party providers other than Snow Farm, our conference partner. All information and links on our website concerning transportation, area accommodations, faculty websites, etc. are provided for your convenience and we cannot be responsible for information or services these organizations may provide.

The organizers accept no responsibility for assuring that this conference or any particular class is suitable for any individual student’s preferences, experience, physical capabilities, or other considerations. This includes matters relating to food and housing at Snow Farm. Such decisions are strictly the responsibility of each registrant.
